Background
A lifelong resident of Ross, OH, I always knew my future would ultimately lead me to a career in real estate. However, those plans were put on hold when I was given the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to pursue a professional baseball career. After an All-American season during my senior year at Ross High School in 1998, I was drafted by the Cleveland Indians in the 6th round of the 1998 amateur draft. From 1998 through 2006, I played in the minor league system for the Indians, St. Louis Cardinals, and Boston Red Sox. In 2006, despite getting an offer from the Los Angeles Dodgers to continue playing baseball, I decided to focus my passion in another venue – real estate – and return to Ohio where my father, uncle and cousin own a farming operation of about 2,000 acres. In addition to assisting my family with their farming business, I have finally seized the opportunity to begin my career as a REALTOR® with HUFF Realty.
